DVO Conditions Explained
Every DVO in Queensland includes one or more conditions. This tool explains what each condition means in practice — what you can and cannot do while the order is in force.
Standard Condition
The standard condition — be of good behaviour — is on every DVO. It means you must not commit domestic violence against the aggrieved person.
Common Conditions
No contact, no approach, ouster (exclusion from home), and conditions relating to children and property.
Based on ss 56–65 of the Domestic and Family Violence Protection Act 2012 (Qld).
